I think an ideal match is someone who makes me better than I am.
I’m looking for someone who sticks to his own values or beliefs,
and doesn’t let society or peers make him something he’s not.
I’m looking for someone who is honest and loyal to people he cares about,
someone who will treat me with respect and wants to get to know me well,
beyond superficial qualities. I believe the "friendship" part of a relationship is
more important than anything else and is too often ignored or overlooked for more
visible things.
This seems like all kind of heavy stuff, but he should have a sense of humor, enjoy
sports (or at least watching), and just getting up and doing things - I don’t like to
sit around and waste the day! He should like to travel and see new places; I love to
explore places, see how people live in places different than I’m used
to...let’s see, my ideal match would also be intelligent and care about his family.
Family is so important to me...I also admire people who work hard and care about
what they do, whatever it is. I’m looking for someone who will make me smile all the
time, or at least a lot! He should also be willing to kill bugs and spiders for me. So
I guess if you’ve got some of these things, we’d probably get along. I think I’m
pretty easy to get along with. One thing I can’t tolerate is people who chew gum
loudly!
